From february 2009 we will be present in Cortina skiresources organizing Tests: to try new snowboarding tecniques using the best manufatured boards ever.

We are not teaching snowboard, we are testing new snowboarding solutions: we will try TOGHETER the right board in the right place.

How can you manage to try boards?

1)Visit www.Kite4freedom.it; we are in Cortina d'Ampezzo,
2) think: which board you would like to try? Swoard EC or Skwal?
3) send an e-mail or give us a call to book your try, (better if a group of friends)
4) Bring with you some bindings

SWOARD AIM: Since 2002 a comeback to larger and more recreational alpine boards in a market which was essentially focused on narrow boards, often specifically designed for races. The revival of "wide boards", launched by SWOARD, was first criticized but soon followed by other manufacturers although width is far from being the only secret of SWOARD.

Since ever the Swoard Team takes time to develop, to perfect and to test all its prototypes, in all snow conditions. As passionate snowboarders they want to ride the best possible boards available. SWOARD SNOWBOARDING: Rillet and Fivat, have developed their - easily identifiable - extremecarving technique, which allows them to easily link fully laid frontside and backside turns.

" Styles that transform the energy of the board into G-force. They tend to have a lower center of
mass and use a more closed stance (knees together, facing more toward the nose). These styles
tilt the board high on edge, so you have to worry about boot-out. They are less stable, and
cannot absorb bumps well on varied terrain. These styles are used for carving complete half
circles, allowing you to experience up to about 3 Gs of centripetal force. Because most of the
energy of the board goes into G-force rather than speed, you can progress down the fall line
slowly and in control, even on a steep hill." - The Carving Almanac

ALPINEPUNK AIM: April 2008 we met Mats with his boards in 5 Torri slopes, Since then he has gone on developing his own carving way. MAts stongly believes in long boards, up to 191 cm of Supersuede. the whole ALPINEPUNK rage has 4 different models, FROM CARVING TO POWDER..
